I am known among my colleagues as the ‘hostess with the mostess’, always throwing themed celebrations and hosting meals in order to build community. I have enjoyed mentoring youth in one-on-one and group settings and helping them achieve their academic goals. Throughout my teaching career, which began in Kansas and led me to California, Thailand, and Costa Rica, I have had the privilege of teaching among a delightfully diverse group of students and colleagues. An energetic and enthusiastic veteran teacher whose first career was managing a group home, I am the new 2nd Floor Female Residential Counselor.
